.......a family farm

in Embarrass, MN

Shannon's beautiful Adirondack chair has a gracefully curved seat and back for added comfort.

It is made entirely of  unfinished cedar, a naturally rot resistant and lightweight wood.

It will weather wonderfully, and its light weight  (about 24#) makes is easy to move to sweep or mow beneath.

The end of the arm rests are generous enough to set a drink or your phone down.

It is not cheaper or easier to make a chair like this..it has a curved back, a curved seat,  graduated arched seat backs, and gently eased edges on the  armrests....but it is prettier and more comfortable.

Take a good look and you will see the differences in Shannon's chair. He  carefully crafts his furniture in his shop here on our farm, Bear Creek Acres in Embarrass, MN....the cold spot of the United States!
Made from  5/4 inch thick 100% Western Red Cedar
All bolts are stainless steel                           All screws are hidden

Maggie is using a power tool to assemble the chair  in the video.....that's just to keep the movie moving quickly.

You can assemble this chair with EITHER an adjustable wrench (crescent wrench) OR a Channellock OR a combination wrench

OR a ratchet wrench and socket.

While Maggie was home from college, we recruited her to assemble a chair to show you how easy it is to do!

Note:  We sell normally sell our pine chairs painted, but Maggie needed to get back so we had her assemble it before it was painted.
